Club Odza extended
Slowly slowly we're really creating our own little paradise here. Today we (read: Thorsten) finished the sand pit. First Thorsten made a box and painted it. Today, he went to buy the sand and we baptised the sand box. Thorsten, Denis, Sven & Kathleen (volunteers BD) and me had to do a great effort to convince Jara that it's really OK to get INTO the pit and that the sand really is NOT dirty. To Jara, all what she doesn't know, looks funny or dirt itself is "kaka". So was the sand: "kaka". But after a good sleep in the afternoon and a bit of persuation she's now fully confident that it's OK to get your hands and feet dirty with sand...
In the mean time, after many months of trial and error, we've landed with a fantastic nanny. Catherine is not only great with Jara and Lisa, she also keeps our house nice and clean, and above all, is a great cook. We hadn't really looked into the cooking bit but she loves being in the kitchen and prepares the most delicious dishes. From "Haché Parmantier" to "entrée au poireau" or a nice rice salad. Not to mention the local Folon or fish dishes. No, my new year resolution to really loose all those extra pregnancy kilo's has become a real struggle. So if we end up like fat pigs at the end of the year, it's not our fault!! Honestly!!
